Our Team

Alder Therapy was founded by Maddi Levinson, Registered Social Worker and psychotherapist with nearly 20 years of clinical experience. Maddi has worked in hospitals, Long-Term Care, and community settings, supporting individuals, couples, and families navigating mental health concerns and the life transition that accompany aging.

Maddi's commitment to this work is both professional and personal — shaped by her own experience navigating significant health challenges and her role as a family caregiver. She understands deeply what it means to face uncertainty, to seek support, and to find a way forward. That understanding lives at the heart of this practice, along with the belief that good therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based.
